Me and Command Hooks

As I've mentioned before, I'm not crafty. I would much rather pay someone else to make it for me since when I try it looks like someone (a child) made it. Well, we recently moved to the city from the 'burbs which means a smaller house. Like about 800 square feet smaller. This means some serious organization. I've used Pinterest for several ideas. Not the crafty section but the buy this and it will help section.
One thing I am good at 'making' is wrapped gifts and bows. My Grandmother is a tad fancy when it comes to presentation so at an early age she gave me a class on proper bow making. (We also got an etiquette class but that is a whole other blog). This means I have lots of wrapping paper and ribbon and now no where to put it. Well, it is now on the back of one of my laundry doors. The Pinterest idea said to screw a curtain rod into the door. I'm not about to ruin a door with screws so I bought some Command Hooks and hooked some curtain hooks onto them and snapped on the paper. That sentence had the word 'hooks' about 3 too many times. There are 11 Command Hooks on this door between the paper, ribbon, tissue paper/gift bags and bucket that holds tags.

I also have WAY too many cleaning products. At the old house I had LOTS of storage. Here not so much so again Pinterest saved the day. Just bought me a shoe rack for behind a door and my other laundry room door is now my cleaning storage.

Literally every time I cook I have a conversion issue and I have to call Rett for his math skills. Again, the lady made this on her fancy machine but she also provided a link to where you can buy it. Which I did. Best $15 I have ever spent. It also includes labels for hanging your measuring spoons/cups. My kitchen storage took a HUGE hit during this move but this freed up 2 much needed shelves. Again, I wasn't about to screw hooks into my cabinet doors so I used more Command Hooks.

This was a Container Store find. I could literally spend hours in that store each day. This morning I did. These cork boards and marker boards are in our office area. Just has things like my cleaning schedule and countdowns to when the house and college funds will be paid off.

I love the measuring cup and spoons on the doors and the cleaning products in shoe storage. So of course I'm on Pinterest but know nothing. How can I find out about those measuring labels...not that I am going to cook anytime soon, but will have knowledge if and when it happens.
