Stores I Will Never Step Foot in Again

So, I'm kind of a picky shopper. I don't shop a lot so when I go I don't want to look around for the best deals, have to dig for my size, etc...I want to walk in, go straight to what I want and buy it. Even though i don't look for the sales I probably still spend less than the average woman because I don't go very often. Well, all this to say there are several stores that do not mesh with my shopping style and therefore I won't be going again.
  • Marshall's, Ross, TJ Maxx - There are probably a few more but you get the idea. I will not rummage for clothes. I feel like I'm in the Dollar Store when I'm in there.
  • Dollar Store - Speaking of the Dollar Store...I went to my first one a few months ago. First of all, it was no cheaper than Target. Second of all, when I walked out (empty handed) I felt dirty. Literally. The floors had visible dirt on them.
  • Ikea - It is a prison. I walked in and was trapped. You have to follow these arrows. There are no doors. You are led to see everything they sell before you are allowed out. I literally felt like I was being released from prison when I saw daylight. I did see a bookshelf I will probably buy for Jake's playroom but it will be bought online and delivered to my door.
  • Target - Now I have mixed feelings about this place. I do go on a regular basis. I get diapers and toys there (in all honesty I have probably bought Jake 5 or less toys in his life so far including the Cragslist wagon). All other sections just feel like a totally mess with crazy people and their loud kids wandering around aimlessly. Yes, I now have a child but we have not had a public meltdown to date so he is allowed in stores with me. He gets weirdly excited about riding in carts...
  • Vacations - Now, this is not a store but the same idea applies. I will search for deals on flights and hotels but once I'm there I do not want to be worried about spending money. I want to enjoy everything the place has to offer. I do not want to cook. I don't eat out much now that I don't work so on vacation I'm eating out. One reason we passed on going to Hawaii a few years ago was that I wanted to stay a long time and do it all. Instead we went to San Fransisco for a week and had a blast. We will be in Hawaii soon doing it the right way :).
Now, I realize this makes me sound extremely stuck up and maybe I am. But like I said, I don't shop often and want it to be a relaxing, stress-free experience. Not a rummaging for my size, must get lowest price experience. I would rather have a few nice things that will last a long time than 50 pieces of crap things.
