Random Wed.

• While at La Madeleine today I was told Jake looks 'just like me'. I have NEVER been told that. I have been told he favors me compared to Rett who is all dark. Sometimes I think people feel the need to figure out who the kid looks like. Sometimes they are just unique. Although, I think Jake looks pretty generic (blonde hair, blue eyes, round face, etc...). We get the mailman's kid comment ALL the time...
• Because of my recent Taco Bell post I have been told that I eat like a kid. I don't think I'm picky. I just like normal food. I don't like tortillas. Does that make me picky? I think it makes me American as opposed to Mexican...My all time favorite food is a hamburger.
• I made cookies last week. I saved about half the dough to freeze. It is gone now...
• Rett's brother got married a few weeks ago. I'm was not in the wedding but I somehow managed to buy 2 dresses for the rehearsal dinner and wedding. I love them both. If I wear either one again it will be a miracle.
• I joined Pinterest. I have not really explored it much but I have a feeling it will just be a place to make a list of things I will buy in the near future. I'm not crafty nor do I want to be so I have like 2 boards - food and stuff I will buy soon. Eating and shopping - sounds like a good life to me.
• Jake will now sit and watch TV for a few minutes. Before he was too busy to even notice it. We watch The Backyardigans and The Wonder Pets. I actually like both. I might even watch The Wonder Pets when Jake is napping and we didn't finish the episode...
• I never spell Wednesday right so I always write 'Wed.' I also never do cereal right. My mom used to get mad that when I added it to the grocery list it was always wrong. Luckily there is now spell check and my grocery list is on my phone where no one else can see what I write.
