- Jake and I walked to the Galleria on Saturday. No shopping, just lunch at the food court. We got a few comments from people who saw us walking once we got there. One was at a bus stop. Um, lady if a 1.5 year old can walk 4 blocks you don't need to be taking the bus from 2 blocks away.
- Made some more zucchini muffins for Jake today. This time I remembered to add the vegetable oil. They looked way moister. Yes, moister sounds like the correct word to me.
- Jake has started taking longer naps. I think it's because I stopped making him listen to music. My theory is that when he stirs he hears a commercial or a scary DJ man voice and wakes up thinking someone is in the room. No more music for Jake.
- Every year Rett goes to the deer lease during Thanksgiving. This year I'm trying to get him to take Jake. I figure his mom can take care of him while the guys hunt. Rett says there is no room for Jake. I don't understand this since he has been trying to get me to go for the last 6 years. I know Jake is big but he totally takes up less room than I do...
- Rett is in Pennsylvania for work this week. You now what is in PA (I typed that because I didn't feel like figuring out how to spell it again)? Overpopulation of deer. I learned this while visiting my dad at the hospital a few days ago. Side note: He is much better now. At one point everything (kidneys, lungs and heart) were failing.
- Jake is REALLY into cars now:
